The now annual trip to the Saltees took place on Sunday, 9th of June when a literal boatload of Offshoot snappers risked sunstroke in their search for the perfect shot. A simply glorious day allowed the ISO to be low and the Shutter Speed to be high – a rare enough combination in Ireland.
The big surprise this year was the apparent increase in the number of Puffins. All the usual seasonal inhabitants were present but we were tripping over Puffins within 10 mins of disembarking. The highly prized sand eel shots were also captured by a lucky few..
