Eleven Offshoot members went to the Dublin Gliding Club on a gloriously sunny Saturday (25th May). We were told by the club that it was perfect weather for flying. Following a briefing on safety and the basics on how gliders fly (actually, “fall”), it was off to the runway and for six brave souls it was to “infinity and beyond” (well, Blessington lake actually).
A good time was had by all and a big thank you to the club for facilitating it..
