On the 9th of March eight members headed to Glasgow, Scotland on an early morning flight to spend 5 days discovering the stunning beauty of Glencoe and the surrounding area.
Leaving Glasgow airport we travelled through the Trossachs, with Loch Lomond at its heart, and across the bleak wasteland of Rannoch Moor with its snow-capped mountains and frozen lakes until we were greeted by the massive pyramid-shaped mountain of Buachaille Etive Mor, dominating the skyline ahead.
We travelled into glens, down which tumbled numerous waterfalls we found beautiful lochs, red deer, ruined castles and towering snow-capped mountains.
After each day we gathered in the hospitable hotel in Ballachulish with tales of scenery visited and its haunting history and to plan the activities for the next day.
