The morning sun attempted to remove the chill from the air but the wind almost defeated it. Eight members gathered in a field in Oldtown in North County Dublin with gaily dressed with tents and fast food trucks and an impromptu race track. Rural life at its very best and crowded with spectators gathered to watch horses and riders in competition over three miles. The wind chill factor deterred no-one and a great day was had by all.
