We had a good group of 10 turn up for our outing to Farmleigh on Tuesday 9th April. We had a most enjoyable morning strolling around the grounds with featured walled and sunken gardens.
A few of us took the tour of the House which provides accommodation for visiting dignitaries. The guide was excellent and gave us a very enjoyable and informative tour, the library was particularly interesting with its collection of rare books and palpable ambiance.
We also enjoyed a very welcome coffee and goodies in the Boathouse Restaurant.
