On Tuesday 15th June twelve OffShoot members met up in Glendalough, where we had the perfect weather. After a good chat, we all took off to various destinations. Positioned in a glaciated valley with two lakes, Glendalough has so much to offer.
A few members trekked up to the Miners Village which dates back to the 1790s where lead, zinc, and silver were mined.
Others enjoyed nature photography, landscape, architecture (from the early Christian settlement), and some the pursuit of just something zany or different. We all had a wonderful outing and some even indulged in an ice cream to finish out the day.
