On Saturday 10th July 11 members attended the outing to Kilmacurragh, we were greeted with wonderful sunshine and a fabulous array of flowers, trees, butterflies, and bees, but the stars of the day were the Dragonflies and Damselflies.
We all had great fun trying to capture these elusive creatures as they darted around in a frenzy of mating and territorial wars. We were a merry gang of photographers checking every couple of seconds to see if we managed anything better than a blur, we had a great laugh and ended with a very welcome coffee and refreshments to finish off a very enjoyable day out.
