On Saturday 22nd January 10 members arrived at the N.G.C.C. Studio. We had a very informative talk from Richard, an introduction to studio lighting, the equipment, camera settings, working with models, and much more. Then we all set about putting our newfound knowledge to work after a relaxing coffee and refreshments.
The Models Lavina and Yasmin were super and very helpful as we all set up the equipment and arranged the lighting for our portraits. Richard and Andy took us in 2 groups and offered valuable advice as we took our shots. It was a terrific learning curve and gave an appreciation of the skill and time it takes to become a good portrait photographer and the appetite to defiantly try this wonderful genre again.
