On a beautiful October Saturday, with temperatures touching 23 degrees eight Offshoot members met at the entrance to the Graveyard in Glendalough. A few early arrivals sat at the nearby booths and had coffees.
At 10.30 we decided to begin and split up in order to pursue our individual themes.
Although it was October the location was quite busy, with various groups visiting and wandering around the Graveyard. This posed a problem for photography as there were always unwanted people in the compositions.
Long exposures were used by a few members so grads and stoppers were in use. There was very little sunshine so the lighting was fairly well balanced.
After two hours we met again for refreshments where the day’s challenges were discussed and ideas exchanged.
All-in-all we enjoyed a beautiful October day in scenic surroundings.
