Club Outing – Delta Sensory Gardens
Delta Sensory Gardens in Carlow is a series of interconnecting gardens set on 2.5 acres. There is free parking on-site and a €6 entry fee (€5 for senior citizens).
The gardens feature numerous sculptures of various types and sizes, including a one-tonne pink marble ball floating on a cushion of water. There is also a large pond with a waterfall and partly sunken rowing boat.
It is the type of place where the more you look, the more you see.
If you want to unwind, there is a room to relax in, too, with trickling water and gentle music playing.
Of course, there is a café on site for the all-important coffee afterwards.
The gardens are only 20 minutes from Duckett’s Grove if anyone wants to visit afterwards (not part of the outing).
We’ll meet at 11 am at Delta Sensory Gardens Car Park.
