The aim of our Shoot With Me was to get some sunrise pictures of the boathouse and lake at Carton House. We planed to go on one of the last 2 weekends in October.
This is a good time because the clocks haven’t changed so sunrise is around 8.00. In November it switches back to 7.00 (much too early!) On our visit the sun shone directly into the boathouse at 8.35.
It is also a good time for autumn leaves. We were fortunate to get a calm morning and the sun appeared right on schedule. There was a little mist and the swans flew in and landed about 9 am. Unfortunately, as soon as we tried to get our telephoto lenses out, they took off again!
