On a bright weekend in May four intrepid members crossed the sea and followed a tortuous route to Rhayadar in the heart of Wales. Near this small market town lies the lovely scenery of the Elan Valley with its reservoirs and 6 dams. The magnet for any visitor to Rhayadar is Gigrin Farm to watch the fabulous aerial display as hundreds of Red Kites are being fed.
