On Sunday 4th February a number of OffShoot members got up early to take pictures of the sunrise at the 40ft in Dun Laoghaire.
Some looked out the window and saw the rain and grey sky and decided to go back to bed. The more sturdy decided to brave it out and head down anyway. These ‘brave ones’ were rewarded with a sunrise and they got their shots despite having to constantly wipe water from their cameras and lenses.
The lesson? In Ireland, the weather changes every five minutes and you can’t get any pictures if you don’t get out and about with your camera.
