On Saturday 2nd September a number of members arrived on a sunny day in Silver Park for the Hurling Sevens matches. A difficult assignment with the sun and the background (spectators and cars) playing havoc with photo opportunities.
Photographing hurling is a challenge the speed of the game is amazing, continuous tracking and multiple frames per second are the only way to ensure a sharp picture. A great fun day out and worth another trip.
Tip: keep an eye on the sliothar at all times it can land anywhere!
