On Sunday 10th August a group of 7 Offshoot members paid a visit to Balbriggan Harbour in North County Dublin hoping to capture photos of the incoming tide across the beach, the harbour itself, the sunset and the full moon.
Despite reservations, Balbriggan Harbour was a great place with plenty of photo opportunities, all which were enhanced by the perfect evening, a calm tide and a magical sunset.
Unfortunately while the group managed to capture some decent images of the harbour and its surroundings, our expectations in relation to the full moon were not achieved. Overall however it was very enjoyable evening and feedback from the images circulated was generally positive.
This is a place that we should return to, perhaps in the Winter when the weather will be less kind and when photo opportunities will be very different.
