On a gloomy day with showers of rain 14 members gathered at the Summit in Howth. The more intrepid sought adventure on the beach whilst the remainder sought the shelter of the lighthouse.
This outing was facilitated by Tom Murphy, to whom thanks are extended, and we were expertly escorted by Frank, both ex lighthouse keepers with a fund of stories and knowledge.
Afterwards we repaired to the Bloody Stream for a bite to eat and a more sociable way to spend time cannot be envisaged.
