On 25th March 10 members arrived at Knocksink. Many of us were not used to macro work, so it was an adventure to try and find something of interest. It certainly gives you a different perspective on nature and a greater sense of discovery.
Knocksink is a beautiful area and I imagine in a couple of weeks’ time when the wild garlic is out and the ferns are unfurling it will be even more interesting. There were some amazing old trees with fabulous exposed roots, well worth another visit.
