The museum houses a variety of sets displaying different wars/battles scenes with mannequins dressed in the appropriate uniforms complete with all the military props including guns, rifles, jeeps, tanks and other support vehicles.
Behind the museum was an outdoor area where military memorabilia was for sale. Some ex-army staff were on hand, to share their knowledge of military equipment. The Irish Army provided an interesting display of armoured vehicles, some bearing the UN flag and a selection of weapons, all of which provided some photo opportunities.
We were invited to photograph a rifle safety-drill in the morning with some actors who would be taking part in the enactments later on in the day. We then followed another group walking through trenches and crawling through the dry mud. Another field contained abandoned tanks, a disused ambulance and an old Saracen armoured personnel carrier, donated by the British army.
