On Tuesday 16th May 6 members arrived at Malahide Castle, the weather was beautiful. Our first port of call was the Butterfly House. There was an abundance of butterflies, with such an array of vibrant colours, matched by the beautiful flowers and vegetation.
Some of the butterflies were emerging from their cocoons, very interesting to watch. We enjoyed a coffee break in the restaurant with great conversation before heading out again to enjoy the gardens. It was a very enjoyable outing and the butterflies were certainly the star attraction.
