The Nature Reserve in Newcastle was an eye-opener to many of the fourteen Offshoot members who participated in Saturday’s outing. Robbie O’Leary gave us an excellent short guided tour before we all went our separate ways to try our hand at capturing some of the resident birds.
Unfortunately, the light was not as good as it might have been but I think most people went home with a few shots. The Arboretum in Kilquade provided the essential post-shoot refreshments…
