On Saturday 9th June 11 of our members headed down to Kilmore Quay Harbour for our annual pilgrimage to the Greater Saltee Island off the coast of Wexford.
The uninhabited island is home to a number of species of seabirds amongst others Guilimote, Razorbills, Shags, Cormorants, Gannets and everyone’s favourite the Puffin.
The weather was ideal and after a day in the sun we all headed to the Saltees Chipper for some well-earned refreshments.
