On a chilly morning 7 members gathered at dawn on the South Wall at Poolbeg to witness a withered sunrise. Getting to the venue involves driving through a bleak industrial landscape and the area itself is remote and quite.
A very overcast day but thankfully not too cold. The sunrise was a difficult shot as even with filters it was difficult to avoid burn out, more classes from Peter Gordon required!
Some members walked to the lighthouse and others remain closer to the start of the peer. The departures of three ferries provided for some dramatic shots. A great day out and worth another visit.
