Club Meeting – Practical Evening on Post-Processing

We will be hosting a number of stations where some of the members will be giving 30 min slots on their subjects. The objective is that you attend 2 or 3 of the sessions during the evening. The stations are:

STATION 1 – John Wiles: Introduction to Lightroom (LR)
STATION 2 – Robbie O’Leary: Introduction to Camera Raw (CR) and Photoshop (PS)
STATION 3 – Joe Tulie: Using Silver EFFEX PRO to add detail, contrast and texture to skies, without affecting other parts of the photo.
STATION 4 – Matt O’Brien: ‘Dodge and Burn’ in Lightroom & Photoshop
STATION 5 – Liam Haines: Blurring the background & using the Lasso tool to remove an unwanted area in an image and fill with ‘Content Aware’
STATION 6 – Mike Smith: Correcting an overexposed racing image in Lightroom & Photoshop

There is also a ‘help desk’ at the back of the room where any member may ask our experts for assistance or information about any topic relating to photography.

The experts are:
Helen Black – member and coordinator of ‘Shoot with Me’
Steve Crozier – member and owns 360dpi printing company
Ian Gemmell – Chairperson of Offshoot and expert photographer.
