Club Outing – Wicklow Head

Wicklow Head is a headland near the southeast edge of Wicklow town, approximately 3km from the town centre. It is the easternmost point on the mainland of Ireland.

Black Castle is a ruin which overlooks the harbour and is surrounded by incredible views. It is easily accessible and the whole area provides excellent opportunities for photographs, both colour and Black & White (there is a B&W competition in early June).

It has a good car park nearby and the entrance is free.

We will meet in Black Castle Carpark at 10.00 am
