OffShoot gained a magnificent 1st Place for our Monochrome panel with two of the images winning individual awards. Janet Wippell got a Gold Medal for her image ‘Pylons’ and George Balmer got a HM for his image ‘Montalcino Stormy Morning’. Congratulation to both for their great images.
On behalf of the club we would like to express thanks to all of the members who sent in images and particular thanks to the members of the selection team (Ken Dobson, Matt O’Brien, Wendy Hannan, Janet Wippell, Richard Byrne, Olive Gaughan and John Coveney) whose role was to condense the images into the final panels, Steve Crozier for the prints and John Coveney for taking the images down to Cork for showing at the Shield.
