Next Monday Night  – SWM Showcase #2

Next Monday we will enjoy the second Shoot With Me Showcase. As was the case last Monday, this is sure to feature some fantastic images along with anecdotes gathered during the shooting sessions.

Offshoot Christmas Party Returns

After several years of a gap, our Christmas get together returns on 19 December at the Horse & Hound in Cabinteely. So put the date in your calendar now – start time 8pm!

Make Sure You Get Your Exhibition Photo Book!

The Exhibition Photo Book is selling fast! It includes most of the images that were displayed at the Club Exhibition at DLR Lexicon during the summer.

The book will be on sale at the SWM Showcase next Monday evening at €23 per copy.

You can buy a book by paying at the meeting with cash or prepay (we will then reserve your copy for you) by making an electronic bank transfer to the Offshoot bank account. Please email the Treasurer at treasurer@offshoot.ie for the bank account details and to confirm when you have made your payment.

Exhibition Photo Book Reprints

There were some quality problems with the initial print run of The Exhibition Photo Book. Taryn has now arranged a reprint with the supplier.

The newer print version will be available for next Monday’s club meeting. So if you would like to swap your already purchased copy, please bring it along next Monday to the meeting. If you cannot make Monday, we will continue the swap out programme from our 09 January meeting onwards.

09 January is Our Return Date in the New Year

Put 09 January in your calendar – that’s the date for our first meeting in 2023. On that evening we will review members’ Christmas Photos and have a first look at some of the plans being developed for our 2023 activities.

2023 Annual Subscription Fees Now Payable

At the AGM on 28th November the annual subscription for 2023 was set at €90.

The subscription will be due by 28th February 2023 but you can get ahead of the game by paying now.

Payment can be made by PayPal at https://www.offshoot.ie/subs or by bank transfer. Please email treasurer@offshoot.ie for BIC and IBAN details.

For new members that have joined since June 2022, your current subscription takes you to December 2023.

There’s also the latest images published on Flickr that are displayed on the OffShoot home page.

[Note. To join the Offshoot Flickr group, you must first be a Flickr member. Then send the email address used to join Flickr to webadmin@offshoot.ie. You will get an email when you have been added to the group. Please be patient as this is a manual process.]
