Last Monday Night – SWM Showcase Spring 2023
Last Monday night was the first of our two Shoot With Me Showcases, where we saw the results of some fantastic projects.
Next week's Showcase promises to be equally impressive. Well done everyone.
Next Monday Night – SWM Showcase Spring 2023
The Shoot With Me (SWM) concept is unique to Offshoot. If you have participated, you will know that you have been part of a group of fellow photographers gathered together with a common aim. We are sure you will have enjoyed the experience, met fellow members in a photographic and social environment, and learned a lot from the interaction.
So come along on Monday to the second of the showcases and share your experience with all our members and take home your prints in memory of the craic and photographic interaction.
We run Shoot With Me twice a year in Spring and Autumn. Should you have an idea for a subject you would like to use for a Shoot With Me, please contact Pat Divilly, as time moves quicky and we would love to hear from you.
URGENT - Please Collect Your Printed Images
Thank you to everyone who picked up their images at our last meeting. It would be great if we could reunite the rest of the images with their creators. The images that we still have in our storage cupboard in the school include prints from the recent competition, previous Shoot With Me showcases, as well as earlier events, even before Covid.
So please come to collect your prints on Monday evening or arrange for another member to collect them on your behalf.
Plans for the 2023 Club Exhibition Developing
This year’s exhibition will be held between 12th July and 26th August on the fourth floor of the Lexicon in Dun Laoghaire.
We also plan to compile a book of the exhibition images that will be available at the time of the event, further updates on the book will follow in the next while.
Members may have a maximum of two images each in the exhibition.
The Dropbox link to upload images is here. Please upload your images in their full size in tiff format – this enables Steve to print your images to the best quality.
The images will be printed, mounted, and framed by Steve and his company 360dpi, this year like last year each image will cost €30.
The closing date for uploading your images is 12th June 2023.
So now is the time to start thinking about which of your photos you would like to see on display!! |
