Club Exhibition Launches on 12 July

This year’s Club Exhibition will be formally launched on 12 July at 6pm on the fourth floor of the DLR Lexicon. We will have in excess of 100 images from our membership on display. 

After viewing our images, we will head to Hardy’s Bar in the Royal Marine Hotel for refreshments at 8pm.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at this important club event!

The IPF Shield Competition is held each Autumn and Offshoot is now preparing to select a Colour and a Mono Panel to represent the Club.

So please start now to look through your images and select up to 5 colour and 5 mono to submit for consideration for the Offshoot entry.

Summer Photo Walks Programme

The Outing to Duckett’s Grove on July 01 will be the final Outing before the summer break. A big thanks to the Outings Committee for the wonderful programme which they have organised over the past six months!

But the fun isn’t over! During the summer we will have a Photo Walk on most Monday evenings to enable us to meet up and continue to take photos. Some details of these activities are included below – but keep an eye on the outings section of the Offshoot website and on your emails for further details. Have a Great Summer!

Irish Light - Big Day Out 

Peter Gordon has offered us a reduced price for his Big Day Out in September. Emily has sent an email including all the details. If you would like Emily to include you on the list, please let her know. This is always an interesting, educational and fun event.

Next Club Competition

The next Club Competition will be judged on Monday 25 September. It will be for printed images. The theme is as follows:

Level 1 Members:   Mono Open

Level 2 & 3 Members: Mono Architecture and / or Landscape 

Details of the entry date and Dropbox Link will be sent by email.

For those of you who may wonder how members move up the levels scale, the process description will be published on the Offshoot website shortly.
