Next Monday – Members’ Digital Clinic
Next Monday evening (25 March) we are having a new initiative – a digital clinic.
The idea behind this is that members submit their queries about any aspect of their photography and we will ask a panel of our advanced members in the club to try and provide answers. On the evening we will break into a number of groups to help with any items that might be raised at our meeting as well.
If you have any questions, photos or issues that you need help with, please send them in advance to our Chair Emily as soon as possible so that our expert panel can provide the best answers possible.
These are examples of some items that could be addressed at our clinic:
· How would you process this landscape image?
· Will this image print well?
· What paper would you print this image on?
· In Photoshop how might you clean up the edges of this image?
· How do you store and organise your images? What is a good method?
We hope that this will be an interesting and helpful session with plenty of member interaction.
2024 Club Exhibition
Our 2024 Club Exhibition will be held in Deansgrange Library in May.
If you would like to take part, please send a maximum of two images at best quality settings to the following link
Your images will be professionally printed, mounted and framed in a white frame by Steve Crozier at 360DPI.
Our exhibition is always a wonderful success and it is fantastic to see so many of our members’ images presented together.
Images for the IPF National Club Competition
Following our excellent performance at the 2023 IPF National Shield Competition, we intend to submit a strong panel of images for the IPF National Club Competition. To this end, we request all members to pull together any photographs they would like to be considered for inclusion in the club colour and mono panels.
Images from all club members are eligible for inclusion in this competition. You can submit up to 5 colour and 5 mono images for consideration using this link to submit your images.
Please name your files as follows: C (for colour) or B (for black & white) followed by membership number plus Title separated by "-". eg. C-123-Title |
