Last Monday (17th June)
Unfortunately, due to the judge's illness, we were not able to have the judging of the 'Dereliction' competition. The judging will be rescheduled for September when we return from our summer break.
Thanks to Ken Dobson who stepped in at 1 day's notice and presented his images from 4 photo tours he has done as well as some of his local photos. Everyone present will agree that his images were amazing and was well received by all.
Please Collect Your Exhibition and IPF Prints
Most of you know our exhibition at Deansgrange Library ended on 31 May. It was very well received, with many compliments from members of the public and library staff.
If you haven’t already done so, please come and collect your prints or arrange for someone to take them on your behalf.
Exhibition Book Update
The book of images from the exhibition is now available. The price will be €35 per copy with €5 per copy donated to Lauralynn, our adopted charity.
Next Tuesday (25th June) Summer BBQ
Our Spring and early Summer season ends with a Barbecue at the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire so, come and join fellow members in a social extravaganza. (Please note that the BBQ is on the Tuesday.)
If you think we go dormant in the summer months, think again. Your committee are already scratching their heads to keep you entertained.
Outings Update
The remaining outing before the summer break is to the Botanic Gardens on Tuesday 25 June – details to follow.
The Outings Committee deserves all our thanks for their valiant efforts in keeping us entertained. What better way to meet other members, enjoy a bit of craic and even take some photographs. So, join in the fun and games which they strive so hard to provide for you.
